Seniors will be training at Jack Carter Pavilion, Oakfield Playing Fields Fairlop, Fencepiece Rd, Ilford IG6 2JL.

Every Wednesday evening at 8pm till 9.30pm

Youths

Locations vary by team but the majority of teams train at our club ground on Saturday morning, Jack Carter Pavilion (Oakfield Playing Fields), Fencepiece Road, Barkingside IG6 2JL

Do not be late! Turn up 15 minutes early!

Be prepared, Drink, Clothing & Shin pads.

Our training Philosophy

Training is a personal thing, you need to have drive to improve your fitness levels.

Work on your own, on days other than the club training days.

Be challenged by the exercise and by competition with your peers.

Nutrition

Eat sensible E.G Carbohydrates, Proteins

Hydrate, take on fluids prior to training and games. Small amounts period of time.

(Remember if you are thirsty before you start, then you are already dehydrated).

Comments

Training is hard and some people do not like attending. We need to push members to attend as we can build spirit and togetherness at these sessions. At the end of season skippers meeting, I took one thing of disappointment from this, that a lot of our players do not play for the club, it is about a team or themselves. We should be looking to make our club stronger not only in winning but as a whole unit, all members pulling together. We all need to have the same goals and be driven by the same desires.
