Board of Trustees
Bealonians Football Club was founded in 1936; and in 2020, became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The charity is regulated by the Charities Commission and our registration number is 1188551.
As the governing body for the CIO and owners of The Oakfield Pavilion Limited, the Board of Trustees meet at least four times per year and can be contacted by emailing info@bealoniansfc.com.
The Oakfield Pavilion Limited is the operating company for the hospitality business at the Jack Carter Pavilion.

Sanjeev Kalha
Chairman
Sanjeev first joined the club in 2003 as a youth coach until 2012. He returned in 2017 and continues coaching in the youth section. Sanjeev became a trustee, was selected as Vice Chairman in 2025 and became Chairman in 2026.

Nick Newell
Vice Chairman & Adult Team Secretary
Nick joined the club in 2009 as a player, joined the board in 2023 and became Vice Chairman in 2026. Nick chairs the Team Selection Committee and is the first point of contact for all senior players. He also manages the club’s social media and Veo platforms, and is a youth coach.

Andy MacRae
General Secretary
Andy joined Bealonians in the 70s before becoming General Secretary in the mid 80s. He has managed both junior and senior teams, gaining his coaching badges in 2007 then qualifying as a referee. Andy is also the Director of The Oakfield Pavilion Limited company.

Bill Blackwell
Football Development Officer (FDO) & Child Welfare Officer (CWO)
Bill joined in 1993 as a player and in 1998 co-founded the youth section. He holds UEFA coaching badges. As FDO, he is responsible for recruitment and training of youth coaches and volunteers. He also leads the Parent Liaison Team and is the club’s CWO.

Gary Lazarus
Youth Team Secretary
Gary co-founded the youth section in 1998. He has been Youth Secretary for over 25 years and involved in grass roots football for 30 years. He oversees youth fixtures, referee allocations and player registrations. Gary is also part of the Parent Liaison Team.

Emma Newell
Treasurer
Emma joined the board in 2020 and is the Club Treasurer, bringing 20+ years of accounting experience. She chairs the Social Committee and is part of the Discretionary Fund Committee. Emma can also be contacted for Team Fee Pay queries.

Terry Barlow
Trustee (& former Chairman)
Terry joined the club in 1985 as a player. He has skippered many teams over the years and has been a coach for 26 years. He held the role of Chairman for 30 years, from 1996 to 2026.

Charlotte Pender
Trustee (Legal)
Charlotte joined the board in 2020 and leads on legal and governance. Professionally, she is a Solicitor and is Head of Commercial Dispute Resolution at a London law firm.

Michelle Garnier
Trustee (HR)
Michelle joined the board in 2023 to lend her expertise as an HR Director. She has always been a lover of the game having played in the women’s league after university. Michelle is part of the Parent Liaison Team.

Jim Hall
Trustee
Jim joined the club in 2004 as a player and went on to captain the 2nd XI before managing them. Having won promotion in his first year as manager, he now manages the 1st XI, leading them to win the Old Boys Invitational Senior Cup for the first time in the club's history.

Graham Shepherd
Trustee
Graham joined the club in 1977, playing each level from U18s to vets. He has managed various teams over both the senior and youth sections. Graham manages the Prize Draw and has been a trustee since 2020.

Mark Gunn
Trustee
In 2019, Mark was a committed parent watching his son captain the U18s. A coaching opportunity presented itself and Mark has been managing a team ever since. Through his professional role in retail, he has secured charitable donations to the club and was appointed as a trustee in 2023.

Nicholas Hurst
Trustee
Nicholas is a former London Borough of Redbridge Councillor and has held the position of Chairman of the Trustees of Frenford Clubs for over 40 years. In 1998, he secured a lottery grant to build the Jack Carter Pavilion and he has been on the board since 2020.

Paul Machin
Club President
Paul has been the club’s Honorary President since 2019. He joined Bealonians in 1966 after leaving Beal High School. He was appointed as a trustee in 2020 and is also a member of the Football Development Group.
